Silver Palace Has No Release Date, No Window and No Year: Every Dated Fact, Including the Chinese Licence of 24 December 2025

Silver Palace has no release date. It also has no release window, no release season and no release year, and it has never had one, in either region, from anyone. As of 3 August 2026 the operator has printed no month, no quarter and no "2026" against this game in any document we can find. The only forward-looking sentence Elementa or its Chinese arm has ever published is in the CN pre-registration post of 16 January 2026, which says the public-test date will be announced later.
That is unusual for a title 15 months past announcement with over 4 million pre-registrations, and it is the reason this query is served badly. Almost everything else about Silver Palace is dated to the hour. There is a Chinese publishing licence with an approval number and a grant date. There are two closed betas with exact open and close timestamps. There are two separate pre-registration launches, eight months apart, in two regions. There is a seven-stop 2026 expo tour with two stops still ahead and a press release promising "exciting new reveals" at both.
None of those is a release date, and the pages that rank for this query keep treating them as if they were.

What "no release date" actually covers here

Four different kinds of date get filed under "release date" by the pages ranking on this query, and only the first one is what a player is asking about.
An announced release date. A day, from the operator, on which the game becomes playable by the public. Silver Palace has none. Neither does it have the softer version: no publisher statement has ever attached a year to the game.
A beta date. Two exist. Both are closed tests, both PC only, both fully wiped at the end, both with in-game purchases disabled. Access to neither implies anything about launch timing.
A pre-registration date. Two exist, one per region, opened eight months apart. Pre-registration opening is a marketing milestone, not a countdown, and the CN post that opened the second one explicitly declined to date the public test.
A storefront listing. Zero exist. Not a live listing, not a "coming soon" placeholder, not a wishlist button. Checked on 3 August 2026 against Steam, the App Store in both the US and Chinese regions, and Google Play.
Readers arrive at this query expecting a store countdown, because that is how every other unreleased mobile game announces itself. There is nothing to count down. The sign-up is a first-party web form on the official site, plus TapTap and Bilibili in China.
The Chinese licence, granted 24 December 2025
This is the hardest dated fact bearing on a Silver Palace launch, and none of the English pages ranking for this query mentions it.
Silver Palace, under its Chinese title 白银之城, received a Chinese publishing licence in the National Press and Publication Administration's December 2025 domestic batch, granted on 24 December 2025.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Approval number |
(PC client) |
Three things follow from that record. A commercial Chinese launch cannot legally happen without this licence, and it has been in hand since 24 December 2025, so the regulatory gate is no longer the thing holding the game back in China. The named operating unit is Shanghai Happy Elements World Technology, which puts the Chinese operation inside the Happy Elements group rather than with a third-party publisher. And the licence covers both mobile and PC client categories, which is the only official document that resolves any part of the platform question with a regulator's stamp on it.
CN pre-registration opened on 16 January 2026, 23 days after the licence landed. That sequence is normal. What is not normal is that seven months later, still nothing.
Who makes this, and why the genre matters

Silver Palace is not a Papergames game. That attribution circulates and it is wrong at every tier.
The developer is Silver Studio, headquartered in China. The global publisher is Elementa, based in Singapore, which is the dateline on its own press releases. Both sit under Happy Elements, and the Chinese store listing states it directly: 《白银之城》是乐元素自主研发的, self-developed by Happy Elements.
Happy Elements is best known for the Ensemble Stars series. An Unreal Engine 5 open-world action RPG with real-time character switching, mounted traversal and a 380,000 HP boss encounter is a very large genre jump from that catalogue, larger than a Papergames lineage would suggest, and it is a reasonable part of why the schedule has stayed open. The image above is a promotional render, not a screenshot: there is no HUD in it. The same fight appears further down in an actual test build, and the two look nothing alike.
The setting is a detective story. The player works in Silvernia, an industrialised metropolis where corporations, crime syndicates, royal factions and cults contest a resource called Silverium.
Two beta dates, and neither of them is a launch
[Monotype], 13 to 18 January 2026

The first closed beta was announced on 19 December 2025 and ran from 13 January 2026 at 05:00 UTC to 18 January 2026 at 02:00 UTC. Recruitment closed on 5 January at 16:00 UTC and access went out from 9 January. It was PC on Windows only, gated at 18 and over.
The build carried seven playable characters, the core city district map and a Real Estate Investment system. Coverage named Lorin, Firtho, Argos, Alf and Cynthia II among the roster.
One naming point, because it produces a phantom third test in some coverage: Inven Global calls this the "Identity Test", which is a literal reading of the Chinese name 同一律测试, the law of identity. Game8, the press release and the recruitment art above all call it [Monotype]. Same test, two names. There was one first CBT, not two.
The copyright line on that key visual is also the cleanest proof of the publisher available: it reads © Elementa, printed on the operator's own recruitment art.
[Dichotomy], 23 July to 13 August 2026

The second closed beta was announced on 26 June 2026. Recruitment closed on 16 July at 08:59 PDT. The test window runs from 23 July 2026 at 10:00 UTC+8 to 13 August 2026 at 10:00 UTC+8, which is 02:00 UTC and 19:00 PT on the previous day at both ends.
It is again Windows PC only. Fifteen playable characters, eight of them new. The male protagonist option debuts here, alongside the female one that shipped in Monotype. Inven Global puts the content volume at over 40 hours.
Three rules matter for anyone reading this while the test is still up. Everything is wiped at the end, with no carryover to release. No in-game purchases are enabled, so nothing published about the economy during this window describes the shipping monetisation. And a test account binds permanently to the first device it logs in from: a second device is a ban.
A second access wave opened on 23 July through a Twitch Drops raffle, 30 minutes of watch time, keys distributed within 48 hours. That campaign is also why no NDA is in evidence: the operator published its own gameplay showcases for both tests and ran a promotion that requires testers to stream in public. "No NDA in evidence" is the accurate phrasing. Nobody has published an NDA either way.
What the test build actually shows

Same Cinderella fight as the render further up, in the register that counts. The name plate reads 灰姑娘, the HP bar reads 380000 of 380000, the party panel holds four slots and the player character is Lv.1. A level-one character in front of a 380,000 HP boss is a test-build configuration, not a progression curve, and it is a good reminder that nothing balanced in either beta is load-bearing for launch.
The platform question is not settled

Elementa announced Silver Palace on 12 May 2025 for "console, PC, iOS and Android". In the 15 months since, "console" has never been resolved. No PS5 announcement, no Xbox announcement, no Switch or Switch 2 announcement. Neither Sony nor Microsoft has ever listed the game.
Pages claiming otherwise are inventing. silverpalacehub.com/platforms lists "PC, Mobile, PS5, Xbox and Steam" as platforms and elsewhere invites readers to add the game to a Steam wishlist. There is no Steam page. A Steam storesearch query on 3 August 2026 returns one unrelated result, a Fantasy Grounds module. The only Steam URL that surfaces at all is a syndicated news post inside a Steam group, which is not a store page and carries no wishlist button.
What is verifiable is the screenshot above, from the test build: Simplified Chinese interface, PC keybind prompts for summoning a horse and sprinting, a quest tracker running a named investigation. Both closed betas were PC clients on Windows. That is the only platform any player has actually run this game on.
Two pre-registrations, in two regions, eight months apart
Every English page ranking on this query treats pre-registration as one event. It is two, and the numbers do not combine.
| Region | Opened | Channels | Reported total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Global | 12 May 2025 | Official website only | 1M on 19 May 2025 (T3), 2M on 23 May 2025, over 4M announced 18 January 2026 |
| China | 16 January 2026 | Official CN site, TapTap app 754910, Bilibili biligame 114678 | TapTap alone reported above 1.21M, unverified (T3) |
The 4 million figure was announced on 18 January 2026, the day Monotype closed, and it is the global website count. The TapTap figure is a separate Chinese number on a platform that did not exist as a channel for this game until 16 January 2026. Adding them, or substituting one for the other, produces a number nobody published.
The "late 2026 to early 2027" window is unsourced
Two of the sites competing on this query print a projected window. silverpalacemeta.com attributes "late 2026 to early 2027" to "industry analysts". silver-palace.wiki writes that launch is expected "no earlier than late 2026 or 2027".
No analyst is named. No firm is named. No note, report or transcript is cited. We checked for an underlying source and there is none at any tier. It is not a leak, it is not a T3 rumour with a traceable origin, it is a sentence with a confident shape and nothing behind it.
The honest statement of what can be inferred is much narrower. The Chinese licence has been in hand since 24 December 2025, the second closed beta is more than twice the scope of the first, and the operator has booked booths through 1 November 2026. That is consistent with a launch inside the next several quarters and it is equally consistent with a third beta. It supports no date.
The expo tour, with the dates each event actually publishes

Elementa is running the game's first global expo tour across 2026. Four stops are done. Two are ahead, plus Bangkok in the autumn.
| Stop | City | Dates | Status on 3 August 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anime Expo | Los Angeles | 2 to 5 July 2026 | Done, recap published 10 July |
| Japan Expo | Paris | 9 to 12 July 2026 | Done, recap published 17 July |
| Bilibili World | Shanghai | 10 to 12 July 2026 | Done |
| Firefly ACG EXPO | Guangzhou | 17 to 20 July 2026 | Done |
| Anime NYC | New York, Javits Center | 20 to 23 August 2026 | Ahead |
| gamescom | Cologne, Koelnmesse | 26 to 30 August 2026, Opening Night Live 25 August | Ahead |
| gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show | Bangkok, QSNCC | 29 October to 1 November 2026 | Ahead |
Those dates are worth stating precisely because a top-ranking page gets all three of the remaining ones wrong. Game8's 17 June 2026 expo article prints Anime NYC as 7 to 9 August, gamescom as 19 to 23 August and gamescom asia as 22 to 25 October. Anime NYC's own site gives 20 to 23 August at the Javits Center. gamescom's own site gives 26 to 30 August in Cologne, with Opening Night Live on 25 August. gamescom asia's own site gives 29 October to 1 November in Bangkok. The same article omits Bilibili World and Firefly ACG EXPO entirely, which is how a seven-stop tour gets reported as a five-stop one.
The booth promise, in Elementa's own press-release wording, is "an exclusive hands-on demo, special booth activities, limited-edition merchandise and exciting new reveals". "New reveals" is the operator's phrasing and it is the only forward hook attached to any date on the calendar.
Three dates will say where this lands

The operator published that character page on 2 August 2026. Marketing is running at full pace with nothing dated attached to it, which is the state this article describes in one frame.
13 August 2026, 10:00 UTC+8. Dichotomy closes and every account is wiped. A third beta announced within weeks of that close reads very differently from silence: the first gap between tests ran six months.
20 August 2026. Anime NYC opens at the Javits Center, the first of the two stops where Elementa promised "new reveals". A date, if one comes this year, has a real chance of coming at a booth rather than in a press release.
26 August 2026. gamescom opens in Cologne, with Opening Night Live the evening before on 25 August. ONL is the single largest stage on the calendar for an unreleased title with a global publisher and no date. If Silver Palace is not dated by the end of August, the next natural window is Bangkok at the end of October.
We will update this piece the moment any of those produces a date, a window or a year. Until then, the answer to the query is that none of the three exists.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Silver Palace release date? There is none. No release date has ever been announced for Silver Palace, in any region, by Elementa, Silver Studio or Happy Elements, as of 3 August 2026.
Is there at least a release window or a release year? No. No month, quarter, season or year has ever been printed by the operator. The only forward-looking official statement is the CN pre-registration post of 16 January 2026, which says the public-test date will be announced later.
What about the "late 2026 to early 2027" window I keep seeing? It is unsourced. Two aggregator sites attribute it to unnamed "industry analysts" with no firm, no name and no note cited. No such projection exists at any tier.
Can I wishlist Silver Palace on Steam? No. There is no Steam page for Silver Palace in any state. A Steam store search on 3 August 2026 returns zero results for the game. Any page telling you to wishlist it is describing something that does not exist.
Is it on the App Store or Google Play yet? No. There is no App Store listing in the US or Chinese regions and no Google Play listing, not even a "coming soon" placeholder. Both were checked on 3 August 2026. Pre-registration is a web form on the official site, plus TapTap and Bilibili in China.
When does the Dichotomy beta end? 13 August 2026 at 10:00 UTC+8, which is 02:00 UTC and 19:00 PT on 12 August. Recruitment closed on 16 July 2026. All data is wiped at the end and nothing carries over.
Does the Chinese licence mean the game is launching soon in China? It means the legal gate is cleared. The licence was granted on 24 December 2025, approval number 国新出审〔2025〕2489号, with 上海乐元素世界科技有限公司 as the operating unit. A Chinese commercial launch cannot happen without it, but holding it does not date one, and the game has held it for over seven months.
Is Silver Palace made by Papergames? No. The developer is Silver Studio in China, the global publisher is Elementa in Singapore, and both are Happy Elements subsidiaries. The Chinese store listing describes the game as self-developed by Happy Elements. Papergames has no connection to it.
What platforms is it confirmed for? Console, PC, iOS and Android, as announced on 12 May 2025. No specific console has ever been named, and neither PlayStation nor Xbox has listed the game. Both closed betas were Windows PC only.
Where would a release date be announced first? The two dated opportunities on the calendar are Anime NYC from 20 August 2026 and gamescom from 26 August 2026, with Opening Night Live on 25 August. Elementa's own press release promises "new reveals" at its booths.
